Pointe Celebrates Ten

For our 10th anniversary, we are singling out some of the dancers and companies we’ve had the pleasure to photograph. Our cameras have caught many of today’s stars on their way up, including David Hallberg, whom Pointe highlighted after his first year in the corps at American Ballet Theatre in October/November 2002. He was also on our cover in August/September 2006. “When ABT’s public relations director approached me about being on the cover of Pointe I was still a soloist,” says Hallberg. “I was blown away. Right before the article went to press it was announced that I was promoted so they were able to use the headline ‘ABT’s Newest Principal: David Hallberg.’”
