New Year's Resolution: Appreciating Growth

One of my New Year's resolutions is to take time to appreciate what my body does for me. As dancers, we are always trying to push to the next milestone, one more turn or higher legs, but this coming year I am going to focus on appreciating how much I have grown over the years, as well as working hard to improve.

Life Updates: Wedding Bells

Since being in Pointe, I got married and we brought a puppy into our new family. His name is Ōkami and he's a White German Shepard.

Let's be frank: No one knows what's ahead for the performing arts in the U.S. With COVID-19 forcing the cancellation of nearly a year of performances so far, including many Nutcrackers, ballet companies face a daunting path ahead with no roadmap for how to survive.
